Our Transition

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued trust and confidence in permitting me to care for you and your dental needs through the years. That said, it is with mixed emotions that I am announcing the sale of Elite Family Dentistry. We have grown because of your wonderful support and I don’t have the time to add days/times to the schedule to adequately treat all of you, so I will be transitioning out and allowing someone else to take over who can grow with you for years to come.

I have worked hard to ensure our patients continue to receive the best possible care and have more flexibility with scheduling. I have carefully evaluated many potential candidates to find an ideal successor and I believe I have found the right one in Dr. Cory Ball. He will continue to focus on patient comfort and tailoring treatment to each patient as if they were family. Dr. Ball will have the ability to expand the office hours to make it more convenient to schedule your appointments and also be able to accommodate the opportunities for growth the practice deserves.

Dr. Ball grew up in Grand Rapids before going to Ann Arbor to receive his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Michigan with a major in Biology and a minor in German. He then went on and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Upon graduation, he went back to his hometown to practice was a partner in a private office and was awarded a top dentist in Grand Rapids for 2024 by GR Magazine. Dr. Ball has expanded his knowledge well beyond that of a traditional general dentist. In addition to regular aspects of general dentistry, Dr. Ball is trained in endodontics, sleep apnea-related therapies, botox, and dermal fillers, among other treatments that he is excited to offer to this community.

Dr. Ball and his wife, Cara, have been blessed with two beautiful children. When he isn’t busy caring for patients, he spends his free time playing hockey, trying out new board games, and watching sports. Our community is going to be blessed to have them here. I will be communicating with Dr. Ball for a short time to ensure a smooth transition and to help him get to know your oral health care needs. The office location and telephone number will remain the same and I am happy to let you know that the wonderful staff helping serve you will remain with the practice.

I want to thank all of you as many of you are more than patients and have become friends whom I looked forward to seeing at each visit. Please join me in welcoming Dr. Ball and know you can confidently put your trust in him as he is a gifted dentist who truly puts his heart, soul, and technical excellence into his work.
