Cory Ball, DDS
Dr. Ball grew up in Grand Rapids before going to Ann Arbor to receive his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Michigan with a major in Biology and a minor in German. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. At the end of his tenure at U of M, Dr. Ball was awarded the comprehensive care award for being one of the top clinicians in his class as well as the Academy of Operative Dentistry and American Academy of Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology Awards. Dr. Ball went back to his hometown on the west side and was a partner in a private office and was awarded a top dentist in Grand Rapids for 2024 by GR Magazine. Dr. Ball has expanded his knowledge well beyond that of a traditional general dentist. In addition to regular aspects of general dentistry, Dr. Ball is trained in endodontics, sleep apnea-related therapies, botox, and dermal fillers, among other treatments that he is excited to offer to this community.
When not behind the drill, Dr. Ball enjoys spending time with his wife, Cara, and their daughters Addison and Lucy. On weekends and evenings, you would find the Ball family hanging out together watching new shows on Netflix, playing new board games, or watching sports. Dr. Ball plays in a few hockey leagues as well and is a big Chicago sports fan and, of course, Michigan. Go Blue!
Ana
Registered Dental Assistant
Ana is a Registered Dental Assistant who is originally from Delaware. She moved to Grand Rapids in 2011 and attended Godwin Heights followed by Grand Rapids Community College where she received her associate's degree in dental assisting.
Outside of work, Ana enjoys spending time with her husband or binge-watching shows on Netflix or Hulu. Some of Ana’s favorite shows are Station 19, Grey’s Anatomy, The Vampire Diaries, The Walking Dead, and Never Have I Ever. Ana has no pets but hopes to have a cute little cockapoo one day!
Stephanie
Registered Dental Assistant
Stephanie has had a passion for dentistry since 2006 when she attended a vocational school for Dental Assisting, After graduating high school she attended Owens Community College with an interest in becoming a nurse but found herself back in the field of Dentistry. Stephanie has been a Certified Dental Assistant since 2012. The patient experience is her priority, she works hard to ensure the patient is comfortable and has a positive experience in our office. Stephanie claims the most rewarding part of her job is " helping a patient overcome their fear of the dentist and making sure their dental anxiety is almost nonexistent while in the chair".
On her off time from the dental office, she runs a full-time construction & maintenance company and is a mother of two girls. She enjoys spending time with her kids, her boyfriend, family camping trips, kayaking, shopping, and any type of crafting & interior designing.
Courtney
Registered Dental Hygienist
Courtney is a Registered Dental Hygienist on the Ballpark team! Courtney was born and raised on the west side of the state in Rockford, MI. Before dental hygiene school, she was a dental assistant where her passion for dentistry and love for patient relationships started. She attended Grand Rapids Community College and moved over to the East side of the state right after graduation to be with her boyfriend and their 2 dogs. Her goal with every patient is to not only make them feel comfortable and educate them on oral health but also to make them laugh and enjoy their time spent in her chair.
When she is not at work you can find her spending time with her friends and family, especially her niece and nephew who she adores. Courtney also loves to golf, hunt, lift weights, and travel.
Alicia
Registered Dental Hygienist
Alicia is a Registered Dental Hygienist on the Ballpark team! She has been in the dental field for over 30 years. She started out as a dental assistant where she worked for an Oral Surgeon in Canton, MI, and then a private practice in Tecumseh, MI. In 2002, she made the decision to go back to school to become a dental hygienist. In 2006, she graduated from Owens Community College with an Associate degree in applied science and earned her dental hygiene license.
She is married with two teenage boys who attend Blissfield Schools. They keep her very busy with their sports and extracurricular activities. She loves watching them compete and is their biggest fan. Alica and her family are big fans of the Detroit Lions and the University of Michigan.
Sara
Insurance & Financial Coordinator
Sara joined our business team as she is our insurance and financing expert! She became a Certified Dental Billing Specialist in 2019. She has a passion for helping everyone get the dental care they need. Sara will work with every patient to ensure your experience here is the best.
Sara is a lifelong resident of Monroe.
